[Guardian] Graphic footage of Japanese whaling released

This really makes my blood boil whenever I watch Whale Wars. But then again, many people would jump to a defence to say that if its not okay to hunt and eat whales, then why is it all right to hunt and eat fish and chicken?

I suppose my answer would be that whale meat consumption is not socially sanctioned in so many other countries, and the fact that meat, like chicken, beef and fish have been consumed since the beginning of time make it socially acceptable to eat them. But to break away from this mold and consume whale meat seems to defy these socially accepted customs. Isn't it enough that we homosapiens eat fish and meat? Why must we contribute to the destruction of the food chain and seek out to destroy another subspecies of the animal kingdom? Do these Japanese idiots want to accelerate the rate at which Mother Earth is dying?!

Just like eating dog meat. I don't care what people say about that. People who eat dog meat should be shot. Basically all involved in the process. The ones who capture the dogs, the ones who transport the dogs, the ones who unload the dogs, the ones who cage the dogs, the ones who hang the dogs by their necks, the ones who skin the dogs, the ones who beat the dogs, the ones who slit the necks of the dogs, the ones who de-bone the dogs, the ones who retrieve the meat, the ones who cut the meat, the ones who pack the meat, the ones who transport the meat, the ones who sell the meat, the ones who profit from the sale of dog meat and the ones who consume the meat.

If I were God, none of these bastards would be spared.
