Am in my hotel room now, using Cass' laptop to type out this post while she's bathing.
Well so far its been awesome since departure. All the GC students are so nice and we get long quite easily. The weather is so darn cold! Apparently bringing tees was a bad idea, because the material is so thin. Plus, I had no gloves, so I borrowed em' from Cass. But you don't get cold weather often so its nice for a change, plus, it snowed! But only briefly, like a few minutes or so.
The food here is ABSOLUTELY greasy! Even the veggies. I was grossed out. I am SO going to go on a diet when I come back.
OH and we climbed the Great Wall of China today! Initially, Mr Kubo, myself and some guys were leading, but then it was getting a little late so Mr Kubo and I decided to stop, but Ernie, a guy from my class ( who is half Chinese, half Thai by the way), along with the boys decided to trudge their way up to the highest peak. I stopped at the second highest peak.
Climbing the Wall was horribly tiring. The steps were uneven and they can be real steep. And my short legs basically struggled to climb them. I was sweating when I reached the top. The view is AMAZING by the way. But my stupid camera died out before that and I didn't have the charger, so I just used my handphone camera.
Then some of us got small engraved certificate-cum-plate that declared we managed to scour our way up 888m of the Great Wall. COOLIOS. Oh and I got a dry cough from scaling the Wall because the air there was cold and dry.
Then we went to Mr Tea's Teahouse and we were introduced the to the background of different kinds of tea. I bought Pu'er, Oolng and White tea - authentic , may I add - then we ate greasy dinner which turned me off.
Tomorrow, tai'chi and visiting the rehab centre and old folks' home.

Am leaving in 9 hours for the airport. I intend to go for Spanish class today because if I miss this lesson, then I won't my certificate. It'll be a waste if I don't, since I already got my Spanish Beginners cert last year.
And I can say my farewells to Jean ( whose real name is Le Heng ) and I got her some good bye chocolates, and Kate and Matthew Sidgwick, and Yasmin, and Francisca and the NS boys in my class.
And dear old singing-smiling SeƱor Portilla.
Oh and and I just HAVE to say this:
my sister has gotten a date. I kid you not. My anti-social, and stuck up sister managed to hook herself up a date with a guy, from NUS, whom she met on Facebook.
Seriously.
It's a world gone mad.

I shall sleep on the way there I think.
I hope I've packed enough shirts and socks.
Had trip briefing today in the morning at 10am.
Supposed to go and eat with my classmates after it ended but I didn't.
Went back to pack some stuff.
I'm left with my winter jackets and vitamins. I think.
But I'm not sure what type of cardigan to bring though.
I'll just bring both.
It's like the rule of shopping: if you can't decide between 2 items, get them both.
Returning on the 4th of April.
Need to meet Shi on the 5th of April.
Back to school for GL activity on the 6th of April.
I'm feeling kinda tired right now. Don't know why, but yeah.
Shall.
Go.
And.
Nap.
For.

Minutes.
Before.
I.
Return.
To.

Oh. And did I mention that project consultation today was crap? We didn't follow the "possible fields and titles", created our own questions and had cross wires with other groups' proposed sub topics.
Bugger.
Whoo today I was on bus 70 to Serangoon MRT and I was looking out the window and nearing the bus stop, and this European guy caught my eyes . Blonde hair. Smokey and green eyes. Tall and fit. My heart immediately started pounding like crazy.
It's my reflex. I see a good looking European male and I basically drop dead.
He sat the the back of the bus but got off at Serangoon station, and I got a closer and better look at him, and I marvelled at how annoyingly good looking he is. He was carrying a textbook and I glimpsed at the cover title " Physics"
PHYSICS. Mighty Good God, he's a student! But he looks like he's 20! DARN. The horrid thing was that he was walking super fast and I was desperately trying to keep up. I swear, he must be play soccer in his spare time, since soccer players are constantly on the move and must be quick in their steps and all.
What a turn on.
But he went to the end of the aisle and I stayed near the escalator so that was that.
Oh and yesterday I was jogging and decided to go the park to stretch and before I even stepped into the park I immediately noticed a European guy doing sit ups at one of the stations with his friend. AND he's Swedish! I know this, because I recognize the accent. God he was gorgeous.
Brown hair, check. BLUE EYES, check. Tall, check. Man arms, check. Ooh and with sweat glistening down his body and his hair dripping with bright droplets of it.
He got up from the bench. He did a hastring stretch. He swept his hand through his hair. He smiled at his friend and said something. Then.
And I saw heaven.
He removed his shirt to reveal a sweaty glistening torso, perfectly, gorgeous and lean and chiseled with muscle.
Right then and there at that very moment, my knees immediately gave way and I bumped into this old lady walking with her groceries and she gave me a dirty look. I was totally embarrassed, but still! Oh my god that was the first time it happened in my life. Gosh what's wrong with me? I'm such a schmuck.
Okay, so so so I went to school for project meeting before the consultation. I was reading a book, and these 2 students - a guy and a girl - were behind me. And they were speaking like really loudly.
The annoying part was that this girl was talking about sports bras to the guy and she went "Do you think I should buy a sports bra? I heard that if you wear a sports bra, its bad because your boobs will bounce."
Erm, hello missy? Can I just SAY that the whole POINT of wearing a sports bra is so that the little twins WON'T be going up and down and getting all dizzy and excited?
The weird thing was that the guy pointed that out and even recommended her where to get sports bras! Seriously how does he even KNOW, where to get them? He said they come in XS, S, M, L and XL and I almost burst out laughing. Honey, bra sizes come in alphabets and numbers. Not just XS or M please. Sheesh.
I had a weird dream 2 nights ago. I dreamt that I had a boyfriend and I christened him James. It was weird, because I was thinking of names that morning, you know, like which names sound masculine and and James was at the top of my list.
Serene's List of Male ( and masculine ) names - not in order
1) Scott
2) Logan
3) Christopher
4) Ian
5) Jake
6) Sean
7) James
8) Michael
9) Alex
10) Connor
11) Eric
12) Tyler
13) Carter
14) Nicholas
15) Jack
I can't think of any other. Oh well.
Oh gosh, tomorrow. 8am.
Bugger.

group photo with Jolene and Charmaine at Termianl 3 - Changi AirportWednesday, March 18, 2009
Some people, like me, sometimes can be oblivious to the obvious so I shall state the obvious. I have changed blogskin. Again.
I met up with my project group mates to discuss our topic titles of scope of research for our project - Society and Cultures - at Compass Point today. And. This shitty thing happened.
This old nasty lady was sitting next to our table and she suddenly got up and left with her bag, so I thought maybe she was done. So I kinda put a tissue on the tray so that the helpers there cold take the tray away, WHEN she suddenly came humping back and saw the tissue and looked at me and said in nasty horrible English "Why you put tissue there? Cannot see I'm using table ah?"
I was in serious shock and just apologized and quickly plucked the offending item off her stupid table and she plopped back down and started muttering curses under her breath.
Like I said I was sorry and I didn't KNOW she was coming back coz the tray was empty and all.
Seriously I felt like picking up her coffee that she was holding and splashing it all over her head, which by the way has bad highlight - purple - to be exact. Doesn't she know the rule of ageing? When you're old and dumpy, you don't put highlights that do NOT reflect your personality.
Okay so now back to things: its official. My days of hair worrying are back. My ponytail feels unusually thin today as compared to yesterday. I think I'm balding. I want my thick hair back!
And.
I binged during dinner and went to walk it off after that.
And.
Am meeting Ke Hui, Charmaine and Jolene tomorrow at 10am at TM for like a late late breakfast, coz Ke Hui has CCA at 12pm. Cannot cannot wait, because I last all of them together was, maybe Sec 1? I last saw Ke Hui last year when we met for lunch at Compass Point, and Charmaine when a couple of friends and us went to see Alan - primary school friend - fly off to London to study.
Peace out

Embarrassing awkward moment just before the test started.
Will not go into details.
Need to do pre trip report before Wednesday.
I have no mood to do it tonight.
I shall start tomorrow morning.
Before I leave for Orchard.
Wait.
Scratch that.
I'm not in the mood to do ANY work at all especially during the holidays.

I was supposed to go to the NUS Psychology Fair today so I left in the morning for I had Spanish class at 2pm. The whole journey took longer than I expected. It was about 1 and a half hours and when I reached NUS. I was like stunned. Because, the campus was disturbingly enormous than I anticipated.
I reached the bus stop outside the faculty of Engineering or something, at about 11am and I went to look at the campus map to get my bearings and discovered that the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was at at OPPOSITE end of the campus.
At that moment I was thinking where I should go, so I decided to cut through the car park at the Engineering block and swim my way there.
Little did I know that I would be in for a maze.
Apparently I underestimated the distance from each faculties, so I was all "Okay, it should take about 10 minutes to go there"I had to get out of Engineering Drive 3, cut through the Archaeological Drive and reach HSS. And I walked and walked and walked and walked and by the time I looked at my watch, it was 11.30 and I had been walking for almost 20 minutes and I looked at the road sign an it read:
Engineering Drive 3.
Okay. So I continued walking. And the worse thing was that it was scorching hot, the roads were inclined so it was like climbing up the stairs and I was wearing black, my fuzzy puffy hair was like sticking to me and I was pissed. So I walked for another 10 minutes, turning and walking and all and looked up, hoping to be at the Drive by now and instead, I found myself staring at the sign entitled:
Engineering Drive 2.
That was it. I've been walking around in circles, it's freaking hot, I'm covered in sweat and look like a pig, my hair is sticking to my face and I haven't got a clue where the HSS faculty is supposed to be. And the horrid thing was that I never saw a single person on my way. Except for construction workers, but I'd rather burn myself at the stake than utter a word to them.
So I was all dejected and tired and sloppy and defeated and messy and crappy and had to walk back ALL the way to Drive 3 and made my way to Clementi Station. Then I went to Bugis to walk around before heading for my Spanish class.
Seriously what a bummer, because I promised Jess I'd get her some brochures, but Miss-Spatially-Challenged over here can't navigate her away around and ends up trotting round the drives and complaining and giving up.
Oh did I mention. I binged at dinner today. I shall not say what I ate, but yeah I binged so I felt really guilty after that so I went to run for about an hour.
Oh and also, did I mention, I'm going out with Jess on Thursday to SUNTEC CITY.
Oh and I mentioned to my mum if we could all go watch Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes. She kept saying "okay, i'll go online and find out"
And the funny part is, she hasn't gotten round to it.
And I'm kinda bummed out, because I really want to go watch it. I love Disney, especially the princesses, ESPECIALLY Aurora because she's my favourite. The last I went to watch Disney on Ice was when I was, probably around 7, and I remember crying to my dad because it had ended and I went wailing " I don't want to go! I want a fairy wand!"
So my mum told my big old papa to follow me to the souvenir stand to get a magical fairy one, similar to what the awesome fairies carried in Sleeping Beauty. It has a button and when you press it, it makes that noise that sounds as though you're creating a spell.
I spent the entire day after that pressing the button and waving my large wand over my mum and dad saying "Turn into a frog!"
My mum has thrown it out, because she says it takes up space. I wish I can go back and get more Disney Princes related stuff.
I doubt I can ever do that right now. I doubt we'd even be going to watch the show tomorrow =/
I'm bummed out right now, and really disappointed :/

<-- Serene and her roomie : Cassandra :) Her dad teaches at my brother's school too! Isn't that just a coincidence?
Today was school field trip to the Asian Civilization Museum!
First we watched a documentary that turned out to be only for viewing the natural scenery purposes, then switched to another movie set in China, which turned out to be all right.
Then Cassandra and I ate lunch with Shinn and, erm another one of our classmates, whose name I can't exactly recall then Cassandra and I played a card game called 99 with some of our class peeps as well while waiting for the briefing. REAL FUN. I realize I don't hardly know any card games at call, except for Cheat! and Blackjack, both of which are the kiddie version.
I think I'll just stick to my Barbie dolls thank you.
So we all headed down to the museum and it was pretty amazing, seeing all the ancient sculptures and statues and paintings and whatnot. But we were rushing since we were on a schedule, so it took most of the fun away.
We were dismissed at around 5.15pm and I had to get to Bugis to meet someone, only to realize that she smsed me to say to meet at Hougang and I was like +_+ So I just told her to postpone our date to another day, since I was real tired and hadn't had dinner. Then I stopped by Orchard intending to get more shampoo since I've run out, only to hear there was no stock left.
Double +_+
Like what am I gonna do without my shampoo? Okay I NEED my shampoo. It's organic! And and its important, at lease for ME, to have organic shampoo.
Bugger.
So I went back to Ang Mo Kio, grabbed some bread for dinner and went home. I seriously wanted to lie on my bed and sleep, but I couldn't. I promised myself I would go and run. So I dragged by butt off the couch and went to jog for about 50 minutes. I did aerobics yesterday for about 1 hour, and my butt and legs were straining and I was sweating like a pig and seriously bushed. How come these people can go on jumping and kicking and doing the same routing for like 10minutes straight without stopping?
It's just amazing, really.
I watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 reruns and I have now decided that I want a set of twins. I want a barrel of babies running around the place and when then they hug and kiss each other when they make each other sad and decide to make up and be best baby buddies again :)
!!!!!
Zomg I was watching the news with my mum just now. Did I mention in Mandarin? Then there was this feature about Miss Denise Phua, MP and my bro's principal and my mum, who is unable to speak or understand Mandarin due to not having any ounce Chinese blood pumping through her veins, turned round ad asked me "Serene, what's happening?"
And I just went "Uh. Something happened to Miss Phua. Something about someone calling her 32 times and something about being concerned for her welfare. "
And my Mum was like "Is that all?"
And I just said "Yeah something like that" And quickly scuttled away and went into the confines of my room where she can't interrogate me further. Darn. I'm losing my Chinese touch. Weird enough, there were times when I was in primary school when I actually tried rejecting my Chinese roots, because I found out my mum was part European and I was like " Mummy is from the Europe part so I wanna be like her! Europeans are cool! I don't want to be like Daddy"
You know I think I still do that. I'm suffering from post colonial hangover. I wanna emigrate to the States and stay there.
Holy cow. Did you just hear that? 12 generations of the Juan family just turned over in their graves.

I cannot believe it, like seriously.
I went online to see if the results for final exams have been posted and suddenly I found myself staring at my results. So I ran my eyes down each column and was stunned and I froze literally for what must have been like 10 seconds.
I did better than expected. I thought I was gonna do badly due to the whole I/O fiasco and not having entirely completed Physio Psych. I did better than I did for last sem. And I'm like really pleased with the results, since I studied my ass off for the finals. I didn't manage to get in any exercise during my revision and just ate, studied and went to bed.
So lectures for GC have started and like stuff covered were real aliening. I have no idea what sustainability is, nor do I fully comprehend the basics of our political system to that of other countries. Today's lecture was on culture and diversity which I found really interesting, since I love knowing about culture.
Oooh and there's this girl in my class and she's pretty with big eyes and fair skin and I thought she was from the Northern part of India and I found out that she's actually Arab! I was amazed! I've never seen an Arab woman before and she's rather good looking! Darn! I wanna be pretty too!
Plus, I met my roommate! Her name's Cassandra from Biomedical Sciences and she's really cute and friendly =) She's also in my project group with 2 other girls from Business Studies. We took group photos today after tutorial and it was nice, but I thought I looked ugly because my hair =/
It's still short. And I don't like it.
There's this irritating guy in my class whom I shall not name, and he has openly insulted - did I mention twice - me in front of my classmates whom I just made friends with and I was really embarrassed. ASS. All I can say is that his prefrontal cortex is obviously not fully developed. I shall attempt to not talk to him so his dirty grubby little mouth won't sprout anymore bullshit and save people like me from humiliation and self deflection.
Also, there are like many smart guys - emphasis on the word guys - in my class. There's this guy from IT school and apparently he has been to the United Nations by himself to give a speech to the delegates, something about insurance and policy, & I was like in awe. He speaks real good English too. And another one with a lot of opinions about topics discussed and he kept coming up with points and ideas and suggestions and I felt really stupid, because I have NO IDEA what he was saying. This is SO gonna affect my participation grade.
Tomorrow's the last day of lecture and tutorial, and we're learning something like sustainable development in S'pore and other countries +_+
Then on Friday we have a little field trip to the Asian Civilization Museum! COOLIOS. Can't wait, coz I've never been there before and it should be awesome! Then common test is on Monday! Holy cow we all have no idea how the whole thing is gonna be like, because its like "How do you study for this?"
Oh I'll figure it out. Am watching Jon and Kate Plus 8. And the children are so cute! And exotic looking, since they're Korean-American-French-Welsh
I spent about 3 hours in the afternoon watching episodes of Jon and Kate.
Plus, I realized that I have combination hair. I have the adolescent oily scalp, but really dry ends, because the sebaceous oil refused to travel all the down my curls so they're dry and fizz up.

THAT'S KWON SANG WOO WITH NO SHIRT. ZOMG HE HAS A SMOKIN' BODY.
Yeah okay and then the episode basically chronicles their lives together since they met. Really sweet. After that I went to read wedding vows online coz they showed the home video of their wedding and I loved the vows that they said to each other.
Can I just say that wedding vows are SO romantic. Makes people like me go weak in the knees and smile stupidly for like 30 minutes, just picturing themselves reciting the vows. I read this one and instantly fell in love with it, plus I took the liberty of filling in my name
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"Serene, I love you.
You are my best friend and today, I give myself to you in marriage.
I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle.
I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort.
I promise to cherish you, and to always hold you in highest regard.
These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life."
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
NOW ISN'T THAT JUST R-O-M-A-N-T-I-C? Ahhhhhh! Then I started thinking of what I want to have at MY wedding. I would want to have lots of flowers, especially tulips. Plus I think I'd prefer a small wedding, so the money we save can be used to spend more days on our honeymoon in....SPAIN. Small wedding = private wedding = romantic wedding. Church weddings are traditional and I find it rather beautiful. Maybe a wedding in the garden wouldn't be that bad.
Did I mention that the wedding has to be in the States?
I watched an episode of Rich Bride Poor Bride, and it seems that the bride has a whole...parade, of bridesmaids decked in the same dress color, which I don't really like. I'll get my close friend to be my bridesmaid. Haha I remember a conversation I had when Nette, Qianhui, Jess & I had while eating lunch and fantasizing our dream weddings, and Nette practically offered, to be my flower girl! Her face was all lit up and nodding excitedly and she was grinning cheekily!
I wouldn't mind if my future husband could sing. I'd like it if he could sing romantic country songs with that Southern drawl. Like country love songs. I like country music. Its fun and you can sing to it coz it has a nice tune and doesn't go too fast or too slow. Then he can write songs about and for me & sing it to me when I'm angry or ovulating. He treats me like I'm perfect but is the more domineering one in the marriage.
Then he'll complain about my being spatially challenged and nag at me for giving him wrong directions in the car. He'll whine about how I can't make up my mind about whether to get the pink or the blue shirt, because both are nice.
I'll complain that he snores at times and it keeps me up at night, nag at his horrible skills at changing diapers, or even putting it the wrong way, scream when he refuses to wash that shirt he wore for the past 2 days. I'll slap his hands for wiping his mouth with his sleevs after eating and his mouth gets dirty, with juice dripping down his pointy chin and smearing his big pointy nose :)
Did I mention that it'd be great if he can cook? He can whip me up dishes of any sort and he'll be nuts about nutrition so I know that I'm not eating too much junk & eating right. He'll teach me how to bake chocolate mint cookies. He'll wrap his arms round my waist as he observes me folding and kneading the dough and adding dollops of mint chocolates to the raw pastry. He'll sing me one of the songs he learnt and charm me off my feet and make me smile, and make me feel that I'm the luckiest girl alive on the planet to have a husband who treats me like I'm perfect
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I think guys wearing cowboy hats, with jeans and a checkered shirt ( rolled up to the elbows please ) and straddling a guitar looks irresistibly sexy and drop dead gorgeous ♥♥♥

I feel like shit man. I mean.
Honestly speaking, I feel as though I've lost faith in God again.
Like.big drip.
Why did He make me this way?
Can't He tell that I'm unhappy at myself?
I realized that I've been crying myself to sleep more often.
Because I feel that I'm such a Damn it. Sometimes, I just want to throw down my cards and give up.
my life sucks. i wish i were different, in the way that i want it to be so i won't get depressed again. it's i'm genetically predisposed to be fat and ugly and freakish.
Went to Borders today to get workbooks for Spanish grammar and verb tenses.
And something happened after that, that made me even more depressed with myself.
Screw it.
Tuesday, March 3, 2009
I don't like what I see in the mirror everyday.
Sometimes, I try to avoid looking at the mirror.
Clearly it isn't my best friend.
I went online and read about people with low sef esteem and confidence.
I am one of them.
It's not that I think terribly of myself.
Okay.
It IS that I think terribly about myself.
I wish I were prefect.
I hate the current me.
I find it bloody hard to appreciate me,
even after watching those shows where they film people,
with facial deformities, or mental disorders or whatever & technically,
they're worse off than me.
If they can think positive,
how come I can't?
I wish...
I wish...
No.
I want to be.
I want to be.
I want to be.
Perfect.

29th March to 4th April - WELCOME ME WITH OPEN ARMS, CHINA
8th April - Trip report submission

16th April - Project presentation
I am still disturbed by the fact that there are tests. WHY? It is the holidays. One should be spared from the drudgery of having to endure horrid studying and tests after having been through immense potentiation of studying for finals. I can still remember stuff from I/O. Hersey ( NOT Hershey’s! I wrote that in the exam) and Blanchard’s leadership model, stages of group forming, equity theory of motivation. Right
Well. For starters, having faced much psychological disturbance for the past 10 years, I feel I’m a qualified authority on this subject to raise my point of view on tests.
But hello, the education system doesn’t give a rat’s butt about what WE go through. Lee Hsien Loong’s awesome rally on Teach Less, Learn More is all talk and no action. Please.
Plus, I looked through the list of possible topics for the project and hello, I almost died right there and then. Now I know what they mean by culture shock.
Business and Entrepreneurship. Politics and Government. Environment. Geography. Peace and Conflict. Economics. All so….non psychology =/
Politics bore me. I’m not really interested in the urban landscapes of China, I’m not exactly into power, greed and corruption happening in said country. Though I probably could talk about environmental hazards in China and how it can affect transportation and landscape there.
I shall worry about project topic selections later. I watched another movie this morning. Independence Day. Starring the ever awesome and good looking and suave Will Smith, alongside Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldberg.
Aliens planning to take over the Earth by wiping out our natural resources and annihilating the humans and eventually to take over the universe. So this American guy figures out a way to disable the mother alien ship, disengage communication to her baby ships and then kill the aliens.

Did I mention Will Smith is awesome? He's got Great. Abs. In this movie.
I love the movies he’s in, for example, Shark’s Tale, Men in Black ( only the 1st one), Hitch, Enemy of the State, I LOVE watching Enemy of the State.
Right its, 3.30pm now, and I have nothing to do. I shall go find another DVD to watch and get on the elliptical machine and work my butt off. That way I won’t feel like a bum doing nothing but watching TV.

I did some housework and stuff but other than that, I was like a walking zombie.
So I decided to watch a couple of movies. And I now declare that any movie starring Bruce Willis simply ROCKS. For example
(1) Tears of the Sun.

Willis plays a Navy SEAL Lieutenant A.K.Waters and brings his group of elite squadron of tactical Navy SEALs into the forests of Nigeria and must rescue an American doctor – played by Monica Belluci – who flat out refuses to go unless her 70 refugees can come along with her to Cameroon where they can start a new life.
So Waters and his men ( did I mention, hot men in uniform?) must decide if they should bring them along. If they leave them behind, the refugees will be left at the mercy of the ruthless military dictator who has taken over the country. If he brings them along, he will be defying the rules of engagement set by the strict Captain Rhodes, who orders them to remain disengaged from the conflict. So now Waters and his men must weigh the life of a group of refugees against the code of their duty and decide between the ethics of the work and humanity.
(2) Armageddon

First a meteorite slams into Shanghai and causes a tsunami and killing 50 000 people. So the Americans design a plan to plant a nuclear bomb under the asteroid’s surface so that it’ll split into 2, such that it will miss the Earth, after discovering an asteroid – the size of Texas – will collide with the Earth in 18 days.
So Harry Stamper – played by Willis – is located, who is the best oil driller and so he and his crew go through a regime that will prepare them for the rigours and demands of the job. The best part, is that Ben Affleck is in this movie! God he’s so darn gorgeous. Plus Liv Tyler, from the Lord of the Rings plays his lover, and Harry’s daughter. Sad and touching ending though, but this is one hell of a great movie.
(3) Live Free or Die Hard a.k.a Die Hard 4.0

NYPD officer John McClane – played by Willis – brings in a young hacker Farrell after a threat is made by a group of seasoned computer hackers to breach the security network of the nation and bring the States down on Independence Day. So Bruce and Farrell must now find their way into the hands of the hackers and stop them from destroying the infrastructure of America.
And. Maggie Q, the actress in Mission Impossible 3 is also in this movie. Darn, she's so gorgeous.
(4) Mecury Rising

A 9 year old autistic boy cracks the supposedly unbreakable code called MERCURY, developed by the NSA, and they ran a test to see if anyone could break the code by putting it into a jigsaw puzzle magazine. So in comes this boy with an affinity for breaking codes and tells the government that he deciphered the code. Now apparently this is a breach of nation security and the boy is to be gunned down along with his parents. So Art Jeffries – played by Willis – a run down FBI agent is sent to protect the boy from potential assassins.
Like I said. Bruce Willis is like awesome. The movies he act in totally rock. I also watched Runaway Jury, starring John Cusack and Rachel Weisz. Totally awesome movie about the underlying little secrets about the court of law, and how a lawyer will resort to unscrupulous means to buy his verdict .
Darn it I'm such a slacker. I'm wasting time at home watching movies and eating Milo cereal. I've been out many times last week.
I went to Arab Street, to Simei, to Paya Lebar and then back home on Saturday. I went to Simei to pick up my necklace that I spotted from a blogshop a week back. It was really pretty and handmade with intricate designs and twists and stuff. I also got some handmade earrings which I'll get this Sunday at AMK.
CANNOT WAIT.
And CANNOT WAIT to meet up with Jia Li. I think I last saw her at Chun Han's christmas party. That's 2 months ago.
Okay I need to plan what to do tomorrow. (1) REarrange the books on the shelf (2) Watch movie (3) Buy lunch and dinner (4) Bring Bobby for his walks
Yeah. Damn. My life sucks. I wanna learn jewellry making. And more dance.

I intend to stay home for the next few days and not go anywhere, though I may need to get out to get my shampoo.
God, the holidays can get so boring sometimes.
Shall watch Minority Report in Channel 5 now. COLLIN FARRELL is simply smokin'.
